Photo Mode : Setting the Capturing Options
Setting the Program AE (Programmed Auto Exposure)
Program AE modes are preset automatic exposure modes based
upon an internal computer program. Program AE allows you to adjust
the aperture setting to suit different conditions.
1. Press the [POWER] button to turn on the
Sports Camcorder.
◆ The Movie Record screen appears.
2. Set the
Photo mode by pressing the [MODE]
button.
◆ The Photo Capture screen appears.
3. Press the [MENU] button.
Move the [Joystick] left / right to select
<Program AE>.
4. Move the [Joystick] up / down to select an
option, and then press the [Joystick(OK)].
Auto
Auto balances between the subject and
background to get the best result.
The shutter speed automatically varies from
1/60 to 1/250 per second depending on the
scene.
Sports
For recording fast-moving people or objects.
It is suitable for sports events
and recording outside in the car.
Spotlight
Compensates for a subject that appears too
bright under strong direct light
such as spotlight. It is suitable for concerts
and school performances.
Sand/Snow
Use when the light is very strong such as
on the beach or in the snow.
5. Press the [MENU] button to exit the menu.
◆ The selected function icon is displayed.
◆ If you select <Auto>, no icon is displayed.

While the menu screen is displayed, pressing the
[Record / Stop] button will move to Photo Capture
mode.

Ajuste de Program AE (Exposición automática programada)
Los modos de Program AE se predefinen en los modos de exposición
automática basándose en el programa informático interno.
Permite ajustar la apertura para adaptarla a diferentes condiciones.
1. Presione el botón [POWER] para encender la
Videocámara Deportiva.
◆ Aparece la pantalla de grabación de vídeo.
2. Ajuste el modo
Photo presionando el botón
[MODE].
◆ Aparece la pantalla Photo Capture.
3. Presione el botón [MENU].
Mueva el [Joystick] a la izquierda / derecha
para seleccionar <Program AE>.
4. Mueva el [Joystick] arriba / abajo para
seleccionar una opción y presione el
[Joystick(OK)].
Auto
Balance automático entre el sujeto y el fondo
para obtener el mejor resultado.
La velocidad del obturador se ajusta
automáticamente entre 1/60 y 1/250 de
segundo, según la escena que se esté
grabando.
Sports
Para grabación rápida con movimiento de
gente u objetos. Es ideal para acontecimientos
deportivos, grabaciones de exterior en coche.
Spotlight
Compensa un objeto que aparece demasiado
brillante bajo la luz directa, como un foco. Es
ideal para conciertos y actuaciones.
Sand/Snow
Se utiliza cuando la luz es muy fuerte, como en
la playa o en la nieve.
5. Presione el botón [MENU] para salir del menú.
◆ Aparece el icono de la función seleccionada.
◆ Si selecciona <Auto>, no aparece ningún
icono.

Mientras aparece el menú en pantalla, si se
presiona el botón [Record / Stop] se pasará al
modo Tomar foto.
