Air Filter Service
It is recommended that the air filter be replaced yearly. When riding in
extremely dusty conditions replacement will be required more often.
1. R emove seat.
2. R emove spring clamps securing the airbox lid and remove lid.
3. Loosen clamp and remove filter.
4. Remove fabrictype pre-filterfrom main filter. Wash pre-filter insoapy
water and dry it.
5. Reinstall pre-filter over main filter. Replace main filter as required.
6. Reinstall filter into air box and tighten clamp. Do not over tighten
clamp or filter damage may occur.
CAUTION
Operation of your 6X6 without a breather filter c an cause engine
damage.
