Riding Safely
1. Sit upright withboth feet on thefootrests and bothhands onthe handle-
bars.
2. Afterstarting theengine and allowing it to warm up, shift the transmis-
sion into gear.
3. C heck your surroundings and determine your path of travel.
4. R elease the parking brake.
5. S lowly depress the throttle with your right thumb and begin driving.
Vehicle speed is controlled by the amount of throttle opening and PVT
shifting is done automatically.
6. Drive slowly, practice maneuvering and using the throttle and brakes
on level surfaces.
