Battery
Battery Removal
1. Remove the strap securing the battery.
2. Remove the battery vent tube from the battery.
3. Disconnect the black (neg ative) battery cab le first.
4. Disconnect the red (positive) battery cable next.
5. Lift the battery out of the ATV, being careful not to tip it sideways
and sp ill electrolyte .
Improperly connecting or disconnecting battery cables c an result
in an explosion and cause s erious injury or death. When removing
the battery, always disconnect the negative (black) cable first.
When reinstalling the battery, a lways connect the negative (black)
cable last.
WARNING
If electrolyte spills , immediately wash it off with a solution of one
tablespoon baking soda and one cup water to prevent damage to
the vehicle.
