7.3.1.1. New type of POI
Click "New type of POI".
Give your POI file a name.
You can click "Change icon" to select a specific icon (cf. §8.4 on creating “*.asc” files).
Click the green "V" to confirm your choice or the red "X" to stop transferring the file or
the arrow to return to the previous step.
7.3.1.2. Change type of POI
Click "Change type of POI".
Give your POI file a new name.
You can click "Change icon" to select a specific icon (cf. §8.3 and 8.4 on creating “*.asc” files).
Click the green "V" to confirm your choice or the red "X" to stop transferring the file or
the arrow to return to the previous step.
7.3.1.3. Delete type of POI
Select the category that you want to delete.
Click "Delete type of POI".
Click the green "V" to confirm your choice or the red "X" to stop transferring the file or
the arrow to return to the previous step.
If the file already exists, a message asks you whether you want to replace the existing file.
Click "Yes" to replace the file and continue the transfer procedure, or click "No" if you
don’t want to replace the existing file or select another file.
Otherwise the file will be automatically transferred.
Click "OK".
If you want to transfer another POI file, click "Yes"; otherwise click "No".
Your POI file has now been transferred to your ViaMichelin Navigation X-930. To check this,
disconnect the device from your PC and in the Main Menu, click "Settings " / "POI" /
"Display POIs" : you should find that the new category of POI has been added to the list
displayed.
