Saving a POI to your Address Book from My POI
1. Load a POI file as described in ‘Loading a My POI file’.
2. Select Select category.
3. Select the POI category.
4. Select Nearest (closest to your present position) or Spell POI Name.
5. If you selected Nearest, select the destination from the Select POI list.
If you selected Spell POI Name, enter the first few letters for the desired POI and
press OK. Select the POI from the list.
6. Select Save.
7. Edit the POI as required by pressing on the desired field and entering the
information.
8. If you wish, you can add the POI to your favourites list by checking the Favourites
checkbox.
9. Select Save.
10. You can now route to this POI by selecting Route or return to the main menu by
selecting Cancel.
Premium POI
The Magellan CrossoverGPS is preloaded with Premium POIs from the Marco Polo Travel
Guides. These Marco Polo POIs provide you with detailed information about restaurants,
services, places of interest etc. The Marco Polo database is locked but Magellan is happy
to offer free access to the Sightseeing category. To access all other Marco Polo POI
categories, you will need to purchase an unlock code at www.magellanGPS.com
Accessing the Premium POI Menu
1. From the Main Menu, select to go to page 2 of the Main Menu.
2. Select the Enhanced POI icon.
3. Select the Premium POI option
