Creating a new address
1. From the Main Menu, press on Address Book.
2. Select Create New Entry.
3. Select Select on Map, Select Address, Points of Interest or Town Centre.
Select Map: The Map screen is displayed. Use your finger or stylus to pan the
crosshair cursor around the map. When the crosshair cursor is over the point on
the map you want, press on the crosshair cursor.
Select Address: Follow the instructions for selecting an address, either by town,
postcode or previous towns.
Points of Interest: Follow the instructions previously mentioned in selecting a POI.
Town Centre: Select a town centre by name or proximity to your current position or
to any other address.
4. The Edit Address Book screen is displayed. Edit the name or information line if
desired. If this address is to be added to your favourites list, press on the
Favourites check box.
5. Select Save.
Creating a route to a town centre
This option is useful when you don’t know the exact address you want to go to but wish to
be guided to the town centre.
1. From the Main Menu, press on Town Centre.
2. Select Spell Town Name or Near.
If using Spell Town Name: Spell the name of the town and select from the town
list.
If using Near: Select Current Position to display the list of town centres near your
current position or Address to display the list of town centres near a selected
address.
3. Select the navigation method and route preference to be used to calculate the
route.
