Ping Speed command on the Sonar Menu (left).

To change Ping Speed:
1. From the Sonar Page, press
MENU|↓ to PING SPEED|ENT.
2. The Ping Speed Control Bar appears. Press ↑ to increase ping speed or
press↓ to decrease ping speed. When it's set at the desired level, press
EXIT.
To adjust Sensitivity:
1. From the Sonar Page, press
MENU|ENT.
2. The Sensitivity Control Bar appears. Press ↓ to decrease sensitivity
or press ↑ to increase sensitivity. When it's set at the desired level,
press
EXIT. (When you reach the maximum or minimum limit, a tone
sounds.)
To turn off HyperScroll:
1. From the Sonar Page, press
MENU|↓ to PING SPEED|ENT.
2. The Ping Speed Control Bar appears. Press ↓ to decrease ping speed
to 50 percent. When it's set at the desired level, press
EXIT.
When you boost ping speed and switch into HyperScroll, the width of
the FasTrack bar graph display doubles in width at the right side of the
screen. The allows you to better see the virtually instantaneous sonar
returns, just as you would on a flasher sonar unit. For more
information on FasTrack, see it's entry in this section.
Pop-up Help
Help is available for most all of the menu labels on this unit. By
highlighting a menu item and leaving it highlighted for a few seconds, a
pop-up message appears that describes the function of the menu item.
This feature is on by default.
