Note:
Memory channels that are outside of the receive frequency range of TH-D72A/E cannot be read.
With MCP-4A, it is not possible to exchange data between above-mentioned transceivers except TH-D72A/E.
MCP-4A cannot read DTMF memory and other menu settings,
Although you may be able to import an MCP file type that is not included in the above tables, some data in the file may not be
read into the MCP-4A program.
MCP-4A can read GPS log data recorded on the TH-D72A/E. The read GPS log data can be viewed
with a map software program.
This section describes how to read GPS log data.
Select “Read GPS Logger Data from the Transceiver” from the Program pulldown menu. Data from
a GPS Logger and Waypoints can be read. Select the checkbox of the desired data. Pressing the
“Read” button will start reading the data. The data is saved as a NMEA file.
When the reading is complete, a screen appears to prompt you to select whether or not you want the
GPS log data in the transceiver to be deleted. The read data cannot be written onto the transceiver
again.
