Although UITRACE using the normal APRS network path of WIDEn-N can be a problem if mobiles
activate their digipeater at the wrong time, it is also so powerful, that it is a shame not to be able to
use it easily if required. For this reason, all APRS mobiles are encouraged to activate the UITRACE
permanently, BUT using the alias of TEMP instead of WIDE. This always makes possible use of the
mobile as a TEMPn-N digipeater while avoiding the problem of adding interference to the normal use
of WIDEn-N

Following are two configuration examples of a fill-in digipeater (fill-in type digipeater) and a WIDE
digipeater (Wide-type digipeater).
