Using the Joystick moving it up and down allows one to select the letter, number or character to be sent. Once
a letter or character is highlighted, press the joystick button, Press the function button on the side of the radio
to select Caps Lock (Capital letter mode). Press the FUNCTION button another time to release this function.
Move the highlighted cursor bar in the symbol area as needed, pressing the function button to change to other
symbols.
