Bulb Replacement
For any bulb changing procedure not listed here, contact
your dealer.
For the proper types of bulbs to use, see “Replacement
Bulbs” in the Index.
Halogen Bulbs
CAUTION:
Halogen bulbs have pressurized gas inside and
can burst if you drop or scratch the bulb. You or
others could be injured. Be sure to read and
follow the instructions on the bulb package.
Headlamps
1. Open the hood as described earlier in this section and
locate the affected headlamp on the inner front
portion of the hood.
2. Turn the bulb/socket
retainer (arrow)
counterclockwise to
unlock the bulb/socket.
You may prefer to unplug
the electrical connector
before removing the
bulb/socket. If so,
complete Step 4
before doing this step.
3. Pull the bulb/socket
straight out from the
headlamp housing.
