Ventilation System
For mild outside temperatures when little heating or
cooling is needed, use the panel outlet setting to direct
outside air through your vehicle. Air will flow through
the instrument panel outlets.
Your vehicle’s flow
-through ventilation system supplies
outside air into the vehicle when it’s moving. When the
vehicle is not moving, you can get outside air to flow
through by selecting any air delivery mode and any
fan speed.
Your vehicle has air outlets
that allow you to adjust the
direction and amount of
airflow inside the vehicle.
Push the knob up, down,
left or right to direct the
airflow. Increase or decrease
the amount of air flow by
turning the knob, located in
the center of the vents.
The rear seat outlets work the same as the front outlets.
Ventilation Tips
Keep the hood and front air inlet free of ice, snow or
any other obstruction such as leaves. The heater and
defroster will work better, reducing the chance of
fogging your windows.
In cool damp weather, minimize your use of
recirculation to reduce the chance of fogging
your windows.
Keep the air path under the front seats clear of
objects. This helps air to circulate throughout
your vehicle.
Adding outside equipment to the front of your
vehicle, such as hood air deflectors, etc., may affect
the performance of the heating and air conditioning
system. Check with your dealer before adding
equipment to the outside of the vehicle.
