NISSAN INTELLIGENT KEY™ (if so equipped)
The NISSAN Intelligent Key™ allows you to lock or unlock your
vehicle, open your lift gate and start the engine.
NOTE: It is important to make sure the Intelligent Key is with
you (that is, in your pocket or purse).
Ⅲ The operating range of the door and lift gate lock/unlock
function is approximately 31 in (0.8 m).
Ⅲ Locking the vehicle - Push any door handle Request
Switch
once.
Ⅲ Unlocking the vehicle - Push any door handle Request
Switch
once. The corresponding door will unlock.
Push the door handle Request Switch
again within
30 seconds; all other doors, including the liftgate and
liftgate glass, will unlock.
It isalso possible tochange the defaultsettings of theIntelligent Key unlock/lock byusing the
Comfort & Convenience mode under Settings in the control panel.
STARTING THE ENGINE
Ⅲ Push the ignition switch in.
Ⅲ Confirm KEY DETECTED appears in the Vehicle Information
Display.
Ⅲ Turn the ignition switch to the START position.
TURNING THE ENGINE OFF
Ⅲ Shift the transmission into P (Park).
Ⅲ Place the ignition switch in the LOCK position.
Ⅲ An audible warning chime will sound when exiting the vehicle if the ignition switch is not
completely placed in the OFF position.
SILENCING THE HORN BEEP FEATURE
Using the keyfob:
Ⅲ To deactivate: Press and hold the
and buttons for at least 2 seconds.
Ⅲ To activate: Press and hold the and buttons for at least 2 seconds.
Using the control panel display:
Ⅲ Ifyou change the horn beep feature with the keyfob,the display screen will not show the
current mode. Use the keyfob to return to the previous mode and set horn beep feature
using the control panel.
Ⅲ Press the SETTING button on the control panel.
Ⅲ Select “Comfort & Convenience”.
Ⅲ Press ENTER.
Ⅲ Select “Remote Key Response Horn”.
Ⅲ Set operation conditions to turn horn beep ON or OFF when unlocking the vehicle with
the keyfob.
