When selecting the valve-spring seat (own
construetion) always ensure that the valve-
spring seat is 2.0 + 0.2 mm thick.

Valve spring Sp No. 944.105.467.03
Auxiliary spring Sp No. 928.107.171.01
1.
Machine a recess of approx. 10 mm width
into valve-spring seat. Only install valve-
spring seat for measurement.
2.
Shorten the auxiliary spring to approx.
50 mm to ease assembly.

Install valve and hold in valve seat. Insert
washer. valve-spring seat, auxiliary
spring
and valve-spring seat with machined
recess.
4:
Use Special Tool 9242 to fit the conical
valve keepers.
