Spark Arrestor
WARNING
Failure to heed the following warnings while servicing the spark
arrestor could r esult in s erious injury or death.
Do not perform service on the spark arrestor while the system is
hot. Exhaust system temperatures can reach 1000° F. Allow
components to cool sufficiently before proceeding.
Remove any combustible m aterials from the a rea.
Wear eye p rotection and gloves.
Do not stand behind or in front of the v ehicle while purging.
Never r un the engine in an enclosed area. Exhaust contains
poisonous c arbon monoxide gas that can cause loss o f
consciousness or death in a very short time.
Never go under t he vehicle while it’s inclined.
