reinstalling.

NOTE: The air filter should rest on the filter support.
Proper placement of the air filter is important to
prevent rattles and air leaks. See Illustration above.
1. Install air box cover and secure with clips.
AIR BOX SEDIMENT TUBE
Periodically check the air box drain tube located
toward the rear of the machine. Drain whenever
deposits are visible in the clear tube.
Sediment Tube
NOTE: The sediment tube willrequire more frequent
service if the vehicle is operated in wet conditions or
at high throttle openings for extended periods.
1. Remove drain plug from end of sediment tube.
2. Drain tube.
3. Reinstall drain plug.
RECOIL HOUSING
0 Drain the housing periodically to
remove moisture.
Recoil Drain
Crankcase Drain
0 Drain the r ecoil hous ing after
operating the ATV i n v ery wet
conditions. This should also be done
before storing the ATV. The drain
screw is located at the bottom of the
recoil housing. Remove the screw
with a 10mm wrench. Reins tall
screw once housing has been
drained.
0 CAUTION: Make sure the manual
start handle is fully seated on the
recoil housing, especially when
travelling in wet areas. If it i s not
sealed properly, water may enter the
recoil housing and damage
components.
