Power tilt/sliding sunroof*
You can open or close the tilt/sliding
sunroof manually should an electrical
malfunction occur.
The tilt/sliding sunroof drive is located be-
hind cover 3 between the front interior
lamps.
1 Hexagon drive hole
2 Crank
3 Cover
̈ Remove the key from the steering lock.
̈ Pry off cover 3 using a flat blade
srewdriver.
̈ Take crank 2 out of the Operator’s
Manual pouch.
̈ Insert crank 2 through hole 1.
̈ Turn crank 2 clockwise to:
ț slide sunroof closed
ț raise sunroof at the rear
̈ Turn crank 2 counterclockwise to:
ț slide sunroof open
ț lower sunroof at the rear

Push crank 2 upward while turning to
disengage the electric motor.
i
Turn crank 2 slowly and smoothy.
The tilt/sliding sunroof must be syn-
chronized if it has been operated man-
ually (
