Traveling to your destination
1. Confirm your destination by tapping Yes.
Tapping No returns you to the map.
Once you select a destination, the N.I.C.E.
P200 calculates your route, based on any
preferences you set (See “Customizing” on
page 92). Route calculation progress appears
at the bottom right.
A long journey may require several
seconds to calculate your route.
A magenta line traces the beginning of your
journey and your next step appears at top left.
Directions can be visual only, or include verbal
instructions, depending on your preferences.
See “Turning voice guidance on and off” on
Note
page 101 for more information about this
option.
If voice guidance is on, you hear “Please
proceed to the highlighted route.”
2. Start driving.
While driving, the N.I.C.E. P200 provides verbal
instructions. To hear them again, tap the voice
guidance button (F6).
If signal strength seems weak,
connect the optional external GPS
antenna to the existing antenna on
the back of the cradle.
To locate the antenna and port, see
“Back view of the cradle and N.I.C.E.
P200” on page 11.
