Battery care
The service life and function of the battery is
influenced by factors such as the number of
starts, discharging, driving style, driving con-
ditions and climatic conditions.
For the battery to function satisfactorily, con-
sider the following:
• Regularly check that the battery fluid level
is correct (A).
• Check all cells. Use a screwdriver to
remove the caps. Each cell has its own
maximum level mark.
• If necessary, top up with distilled water to
the battery’s maximum mark.
NOTE! Never fill above the maximum
mark (A).
• Tighten the caps properly.
NOTE! The life of the battery is shortened if it
becomes discharged repeatedly.
