Touching up paintwork
Paintwork
Paint is an important part of the car’s rust-
proofing and should therefore be checked
regularly. Repair paintwork damage immedi-
ately so that it does not start to rust. The most
common types of paintwork damage that you
can repair yourself are:
• Minor stone chips and scratches.
• Damage to wing edges and doors.
When repairing paintwork, the car should be
clean and dry with a temperature above
+15 °C.
