When confirming traffic information manually
When you press the GUIDE button on the Remote Control for more than three seconds, you
can check traffic information about your route.
When traffic information is received, the message asking whether to recalculate the route to
avoid the traffic jam is displayed. If there is no traffic information along the route being
guided, it is announced on screen and by voice.
If there is a traffic jam on the route
When receiving information of a traffic jam, the message announcing the presence of a traffic
jam is indicated. (Voice recognition then becomes available automatically, without the need
to press the TALK button.) You can select whether to recalculate the route by considering this
traffic jam, or checking detailed information.
On this display, you can select the following items:
If it has not been possible to determine a route to avoid a traffic jam, a map of the area
around the traffic jam appears for a certain time, and then the display returns to a map
screen.
If there is no traffic jam information on the route
If there is no traffic jam information, the message informing that there is no traffic jam infor-
mation on the route, is indicated. If receiving traffic jam information outside the set route, you
can select whether to check the contents of the information.
On this screen, you can select the following items:
If there is no traffic jam information, the Navigation System does not automatically switch to
voice recognition. (You cannot operate by saying “Traffic List” or “OK”.)
Yes : The route is recalculated taking the traffic jam into account. (You can also
say “Yes”.)
No : The message disappears, and the map display reappears. (You can also say
“No”.)
Traffic List : List of traffic information is displayed.
Traffic List : List of traffic information is displayed.
OK : Message disappears, and returns to the map screen.
