– Pull the lower chain section with specified weight.

Weight, chain wear measurement 15kg (33lb.)
– Measure distance of 18 chain links in the lower chain section.

Chain wear is not always even, so you should repeat this measurement at differ-
ent chain positions.

New chains wear out faster on old, worn sprockets.
For safety reasons, the chain has no chain joint. Always have the chain
changed in an authorized KTM-RC8 workshop, where they have the nec-
essary special tools.
