means of disarming the databus interface module is through the OEM transmitter or coded Valet switch. (Refer
to the Disarming Without a Transmitter section in the owner’s guide for detailed instructions.) Level II security
protects the vehicle from unauthorized coded keys being used to open the vehicle’s doors or trunk. This security
mode also protects the vehicle in cases where one of the key cylinders has been forced and turned to unlock the
vehicle.
VEHICLES WITHOUT CONTENT THEFT DETERRENT (CTD)
Level II security mode is recommended for vehicles without CTD, which do not monitor key cylinders and often
require adding trunk pins or hard-wiring the trunk to the databus interface module.
CTD SYSTEMS THAT DO NOT MONITOR THE FACTORY TRUNK PIN
When Level II Security Mode is selected for Bonnevilles, Auroras or LeSabres, no additional wiring to the vehicle’s
factory trunk pin is required.

To access the jumper, open the control module. This jumper is used to determine the light flash output. In the
default negative (-) position, the on-board relay is disabled and the unit will output (-) 200 mA, suitable for
light flash jumper
