Other Features
The Navigation System has additional useful features:
•Hotkeys
•Almanac
•Playing a Demo
• Recording and Playing Back GPS paths
Hotkeys
The Hotkeys feature lets you use a button on the Pocket PC to show a specific
screen or toggle a specific feature on and off. Hotkey assignments in the
Navigation System work only when you are using the Navigation System, and
do not affect the use of the button in other Pocket PC applications. The
following features can be assigned to Hotkeys:
• 3D Mode—Toggles between 3D on and off in Map view.
• Current Position—Opens the Location Information screen for your
current location.
• Customize POI Icons—Opens the Categories to Display screen.
• Detour—If a destination has been selected, opens the Detour Around
screen. If no destination is set, nothing happens when the button is
pressed.
• Display Options—Opens the Customize Your Display screen.
• Enter Destination—If no destination is set, opens the Set Destination
screen. If a destination is currently selected, opens the Current Route
Options screen.
• Full screen—Toggles Full screen mode on and off.
• GPS Info—Toggles the GPS Status screen on and off.
• Menu—Opens the Menu screen.
• Mute—Toggles the muting of instructions on and off.
