Horn Honk Timing (Optional)
1. Make sure that Mode 3 Function 4 Option1 or Option 3 is activated.
2. FLASH the Hood Pin Switch
Before the 20 seconds have passed,
3. Press and hold the Brake Pedal.
x Press the START and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on the Transmitter.
x The Horn will Honk 5 times.
4. Release the Brake Pedal.
5. To change the timing:
a. To increase the Horn Honk by 3 ms, press the LOCK button.
b. To increase the Pulse by 10 ms, press the START
c. To decrease the Pulse by 3 ms, press the UNLOCK button.
d. To decrease the Pulse by 10 ms, press the TRUNK button.
6. To save the setting: press LOCK and UNLOCK. If 3 Honks are heard the new value has
been saved.
For each timing change, the Horn will Honk with the new settings, except under the
following circumstances:
x When the lower limit of 5 ms is reached, the Horn will sound for 1/4 second.
x When the upper limit of 200 ms is reached, the Horn will sound for 3/4 second.
A system reset will set the system back to the default: 30 ms
