Cut around the entire circumference of the dust
shield, using a cut-off wheel or sheet metal snips.
Remove the dust shield, and carefully de-burr any
sharp edges, using a file or power die grinder.
Test-fit the rotor, and turn it to check that no
remaining part of the dust shield comes into con-
tact with it.
