Tank Filling
Thismenuitemisusedtotransferrefrigerantfroma
sourcetanktotheISV.Thisprocedureworksonlyif
theISVcontainslessthanthemaximumamountof
refrigerantprogrammedunderTankFillAdjustment.

Note: If a source tank is connected to the tank ll
hose while the machine is sitting idle, the machine
automatically adds refrigerant up to the level set during
Tank Fill Adjustment.
1.ConnectanR1234yfsourcetanktothetankllhose
attherearofthemachine.Note: The tank ll hose
and the tank access port have left-hand threads.
Handtightenthetankllhose.
2.Openthetankvalve.
3.Mountthesourcetankontheshelfattherearofthe
machine,orientedtosupplyliquidrefrigeranttothe
connection.Tightentheholdingstraparoundthe
sourcetank. Verifythetankdoesnotrestrictairow
fromthevent.
4.SelectTANK FILLINGfromtheFunctionsmenu.

inthesourcetanktoverifyitisR1234yfandnot
contaminated.Themachinedisplaysthefollowing

REFRIGERANTPURITYACCEPTABLE
andaftervesecondsbeginsllingtheinternal
storagevessel(ISV).
6.Themachineautomaticallystopswhenthepreset
tanklllevelisreached.Tostopthetankllbefore
thepresetlevelisreached,selectESC.
7.Ifusinganon-rellabletank,themachinemust
displaySOURCETANKEMPTYbeforethetankmay
bediscarded.
