AIR CONDITIONER OPERATION
J Cooling or dehumidifying

ON position
For cooling and dehumidification of the passenger compartment, air
flows through the instrument panel outlets:
1. Set the air inlet selection lever to the “
” position.
2. Set the air outlet control dial to the “
” position.
3. Push the air conditioner button on.
4. Set the temperature control dial to the blue area.
5. Set the fan speed control lever at the highest speed.
J Defrosting or defogging
CAUTION
The air conditioner compressor will not cycle on automatically
when set the air outlet control dial to the “
” position. In
order to take advantage of the air conditioning system’s ability to
dehumidify the air in the passenger compartment, it is also nec-
essary to depress the air conditioner button.
