3 Positioning the M-Nav in a
Vehicle
The M-Nav can be mounted in a vehicle 3 ways:
By suction on the windscreen;
By suction, adhesive tape and screws drilled directly into the dashboard;
By using the Panavise screw mount.
Note
: The last two mounts are permanent solutions that will mark your dashboard.
Follow the safety guidelines in Section 1 to ensure that the M-Nav does not obstruct the driver’s view, or
interfere with the operation of vehicle airbags and safety devices.
3.1 M-Nav Suction-Mount
Choose a position on the windshield that is clearly visible to the driver without obstructing the view of
the road.
Slip the locking-nut over the ballfoot.
Snap the socket-clip onto the ballfoot.
Screw the locking-nut onto the thread of the socket-clip until firm.
Use the alcohol swab to clean and dry the suction-cup and the mounting-area
on the windshield, then attach the suction-mount to the windshield:
Hold the suction-cup firmly against the windshield and
Press the lever towards the suction-cup.
3.2 M-Nav Adhesive Tape and Screw-Mount
You can use the baseplate, adhesive tape and screws supplied to permanently mount the M-Nav
directly into the vehicle dashboard.
