Hands-Free Operation (Bluetooth)
With NAVIGON 5100 max, you can use Bluetooth to operate your mobile phone
hands-free.
The Hands-Free Main Window
On the HANDS-FREE MAIN WINDOW, you can:

Hands-Free Operation is only available on supported Bluetooth mobile phones.
Select this button to show a keypad to dial a phone number, enter a PIN
Code, or select menu options in automated systems.
This option is only available when the device is paired to a mobile phone.
Select this button to go to the H
ANDS-FREE SETTINGS WINDOW. See “The
Hands-Free Settings Window” on page 129.
Select this button to view mobile phone address book entries on your mobile
phone. Address
book entries are not saved on the navigation device and
are only available when the
NAVIGON 5100 max is connected to a
mobile phone.
This option is only available on supported mobile phones.
Select this button to view a list of recent calls made from your mobile phone
This option is only available when the device is connected to a supported
mobile phone.
Four speed dial buttons can be specified. They can be set manually or
imported from a mobile phone address book. Once set, the name of the
location is shown on the button.

Select this button to close the H
ANDS-FREE MAIN WINDOW and re-display the
M
AIN WINDOW.
Select this button to send the HANDS-FREE MAIN WINDOW to the back-
ground and display the navigation application.
To re-display the
HANDS-FREE MAIN WINDOW, tap (Phone).
