Using Power Management
Your ActionNote offers a variety of power
management features to help you conserve
battery power. Your computer has three
power-saving modes Idle, Standby, and
Suspend These modes progressively reduce
computer functions and save battery life by
turning off various system components when
they are not in use, as described in the
following table:

The screen and hard disk drive also have their
own independent timeout periods and the
screen backlight turns off whenever you close
the cover.

Suspend/Resume
button
(located between the brightness and contrast
controls) at any time to enter Suspend mode
