STAMPED CONTACT CONNECTOR USAGE
Garmin panel mount GPS radios have previously been shipped with stamped crimp type
contacts. All products are now being shipped with machined mil-spec contacts with
color-coded barrels. The following figures can be used to identify which type contact you
have:
When working with the stamped crimp type contacts, the following tools should be used:
