Shock Sensor Trigger Ignition Trigger (optional) PIR Sensor
TAMPER DISARMING: If the alarm was triggered in your absence, when disarming the system,
the siren will chirp 4 times and the parking lights will flash 3 times, indicating an intrusion to the
security system while you were away from the vehicle.
PATHWAY ILLUMINATION (See Alarm Feature “II - 4” Programming): This feature turns the
parking light “ON” for 30 seconds upon a unlock signal and for 10 seconds upon the lock signal.
TWO STEP DOOR UNLOCK (See Start Feature “I - 5” Programming):
This feature will independently unlock the drives door only when disarming the security system
(additional installation is required for this feature). Pushing the
button a second time within 3
seconds will unlock the entire vehicle.
AUTOMATIC RE-ARM (See Alarm Feature “I - 3” Programming): If this feature is selected, the
security system will automatically re-arm itself 60 seconds after disarming with the remote
transmitter. Automatic rearm will cancel if any door is opened before the 60 seconds timer has
elapsed. If Passive Arming is turned “ON” the auto rearm timer will be suspended if any door is
opened before the 60 seconds timer has elapsed. The alarm will restart the 60-second timer
after the last door is closed.
DISARMING WITHOUT A TRANSMITTER
OVERRIDE THE ALARM WITHOUT A PASSWORD PIN CODE:
(Alarm Feature III - 4 Programming)
The Override function may be used if the remote transmitter is lost or inoperative.
1. Enter the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to 'ON’ position. (Alarm will sound.)
2. Within 10 seconds push and hold the valet switch until alarm stops sounding.
The alarm will enter the disarm mode. You can now start and operate the vehicle normally.
OVERRIDE THE ALARM WITH A PASSWORD PIN CODE:
(Alarm Feature III - 4 Programming)
Unlike the valet switch, easily found and defeated, this security system allows the owner to
program a password pin code. Offering a higher level of security. This is a two- step process.
1. Enter the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to 'ON’ position. (Alarm will sound.)
2. Within 5 seconds, enter the first digit of the two-digit password by pressing the Valet
Switch that number of times.
(When the above procedures are finished, the system's siren will stop; parking light will
stop flashing and all sensors will stop triggering but the vehicle cannot be started.)
3. Within 15 seconds of the first digit entered, turn the Ignition Switch “OFF” then “ON”.
4. Within 15 seconds, enter the second digit of the two-digit password by pressing the Valet
Switch that number of times.
5. Turn the ignition switch “OFF” position.
[2] Chirps from siren/horn, [2] flashes from parking lights and LED will turn off to indicate the
system was disarmed.
Note 1: You must override the alarm within 60 seconds. If not, the system will automatically re-
arm.
Note 2: If someone was to key-in a wrong password pin code, the system allows you to make 2
mistakes. If third time is still wrong, the system will automatically shut down for 5 minutes. During
the period, the system will not accept any correct numbers and the LED will “flash pause on” (the
LED will turns on 1 second and turn off 0.1 seconds pause).
