The system comes with the following
underlined default presets. These setting
can be changed but it is recommended that
your local Alpine dealer modify these settings
for you. Consult your local Alpine dealer for
further information on these features.
Auto: The system will automatically arm
when the last door of the vehicle
is closed after the ignition is
turned off. (Also known as
"passive arming".)
Manu: The system is armed using the
Remote Control Transmitter.
On: The doors will lock automatically
when the system is armed
automatically (passively).
The doors will lock 10 seconds
after the ignition key is turned on
(regardless of #1 Mode Switch
setting).
Off: The doors will not lock when the
system is armed automatically
(passively).
On: The siren will chirp when the
system is armed and disarmed.
Off: The siren will not chirp when the
system is armed and disarmed.
Assigns a car number to the security system.
Allows the use of one SEA-8481 remote
control with four cars containing SEA-8081
security systems.
1st Car: DIP #4 OFF, DIP #5 OFF
2nd Car: DIP #4 ON, DIP #5 OFF
3rd Car: DIP #4 OFF, DIP #5 ON
