Using the CDA-7949
(sold separately)

Sensor Adjustment (Im-
pact Sensor)
1 Enter the vehicle.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position.
2 Turn on the power of the CDA-7949.
Toggle the Disarm/Valet switch to the ON
position for one second. The Extension LED
will blink for one second.
The CDA-7949 will display the radar "Sensor
Adjust" screen.
Press and release the TX/PANIC and EXT1/
VALET buttons simultaneously. The system
will enter RADAR sensitivity adjustment
mode. Proceed to step 4 .
Again, toggle the Disarm/Valet switch to the
ON position for one second. The security
system will enter impact pre-warn sensitivity
and display the settings for impact sensor
adjustments on the CDA-7949 screen.
Press the TX/PANIC button to increase the
impact sensor's sensitivity. Press the EXT1/
VALET button to decrease the impact
sensor's sensitivity. The impact sensor's
coverage, represented by a number from 1 to
15 on the CDA-7949 display, will change
respectively.
TX/PANIC button: UP
EXT1/VALET button: DOWN
Note: If sensed, the Extension LED will blink
once.
