EXT Output
The external outputs provided with the
system allow the connection of external
convenience and security items. Four outputs
are provided with the SEA-8081 security
system, three of which can be controlled by
the SEC-8448A remote control transmitter.
Some typical applications for this output are:
• Trunk Release
• Sunroof Control
• Power Window Control
Activating the EXT-1 Out-
put:
Press and release the EXT 1/VAL button on
the remote control transmitter.
(When the EXT 1/VAL button is released, the
remote control LED will blink once for first car
operation and twice for second car opera-
tion.)
Notes:
• The EXT output can be accessed with the
ignition on or off.
• Certain applications may require optional
modules or 8329 relays.
• The system can be programmed to defeat
the ignition and impact sensors for 20
minutes when the EXT-1 output is
activated. This feature is designed for
easy interfacing of an engine start
module. Consult your Alpine dealer for
more information.
