If the SEA-8081 detects a faulty sensor (other
than the door input) when it is armed, the
SEA-8081 will chirp the siren three times six
seconds after the system is armed to warn
you of this abnormality. The system will then
arm, monitoring all sensors except the faulty
sensor input. Once the faulty sensor input
becomes active, the SEA-8081 will then
monitor all working sensor inputs.
If a door is left open or the pin switch was to
become defective, the SEA-8081 will ignore
the door input for 45 seconds after the
system is armed. If, after 45 seconds the
SEA-8081 still sees the doors open, it will
chirp the siren three times to warn you of the
open door. Again, the system will ignore this
sensor input until it becomes active. When
the door sensor becomes active, the SEA-
8081 will then monitor all working sensors.
The SEA-8481 Remote Control has the
capability of controlling up to four compatible
main units independently. All four main units
will maintain all functions available from the
SEA-8481 Remote Control. The SEC-8448A
Remote Control has the capability of
controlling up to two compatible main units
independently.
