Registering the ID Code
of the Remote Control
Transmitter
1 Enter the vehicle.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position.
2 Turn on the power of the CDA-7949.
Notes:
• Do not start the engine.
• Decrease the sound volume for the car audio.
Open the cover of the SEA-8081 Main-Unit.
Press and hold the Disarm/Valet switch.
(Keep the switch held during the entire
coding process.)
Press and release the Reset switch on the
SEA-8081 Main-Unit.
Note: Do not press the Reset switch for
functions other than this.
The "Code Learn" text will scroll on the CDA-
7949 Tuner/CD Player.
Press and release the TX/PANIC button on
the remote control to be coded.
