The system will warn you that the alarm has
been activated during your absence in three
ways:
1. The Extension LED will flash twice per
second while the alarm is armed, before
the system is disarmed.
2. The SEA-8081 will chirp the siren and
flash the parking lights three times when
the system is disarmed.
3. If the system is in the Protected Valet
mode and the hood or trunk is opened,
the SEA-8081 will flash the extension LED
twice every three seconds when the
system is taken out of the Protected Valet
mode. If the system is taken out of the
Protected Valet mode when the ignition is
on, the LED will flash twice every three
seconds when the ignition is turned off.
Note: Flashing lights may be optional.
Consult your Alpine dealer for more
information.
If the system is in the Automatic (Passive)
Arming Mode and a door or trunk is opened
during the 10 second Exit Delay Time (or 30
seconds if so selected via the CVA-1000 or
CDA-7949), the timer will reset itself and
restart the countdown procedure when the
door or trunk is closed.
