Packaging The following general instructions should be used for repacking the
module with commercially available materials.
• Wrap module in anti-static plastic.
• Use a strong shipping container. A double-wall carton made of 350
lb. test material is adequate.
• Usealayerofshock-absorbingmaterial70to100mm(3to4inch)
thick around all sides of the module to provide firm cushioning and
prevent movement inside the container.
• Seal shipping container securely.
• Mark shipping container FRAGILE to ensure careful handling.
• In any correspondence, refer to module by model number and board
number.
Tagging for
Service
If the module is to be shipped to a Hewlett-Packard office for service or
repair, attach a tag showing owner (with address), complete board number,
and a description of the service required.
