Stabilize the Fuel
1. Fill the fuel tank.
2. Add Polaris Carbon Clean Fuel Treatment or Polaris Fuel
Stabilizer . Follow the instructions on the container. (Car bon Clean
Plus will reduce the possibility of bacte rial gr owth in t he fu el
system.) Allow 15-20 minutes of operation f or the stabilize r to
disperse through the fuel in the tank a nd ca rburetor.
3. T urn the fuel v alve of f.
4. Drain the carbure tor bowl.
Change Oil and Filter
Change the oil and filter. See page 68.
Air Filt er / Air Box
Inspect and clean (or replace) the pre-cleaner and air filter. Clea n the air
box a nd dra in the se diment tube . See pa ge 85.
Check / Change Fluids
Inspect fluid levels and change fluids if necessary.

Battery Storage
