Vehicle Immersion
If your vehicle has been totally
submerged in water and it's
impossible to have it serviced
before further operation, perform
the following procedure.
1. Move the vehicle out of the
water.
2. Turn the fuel valve
off.
3. Remove the spark
plug.
4. Drain any water found in
the air box.
5. Loosen the carburetor drain screw
and drain the carburetor.
CAUTION
If the vehicle stops while fully submerged, major engine damage can result if
the machine is not thoroughly inspected. Take the vehicle to your dealer
before starting the engine.
