Lights
WARNING
Poor lighting while driving can result in severe injury or death.
Headlight and taillight lenses become dirty during normal
operation. Wash the headlights frequently to maintain lighting
quality.
Hot components can cause serious burns to skin. Don’t service
the headlamps until they’ve cooled sufficiently.
Headlight Lamp Replacement
1. Using a small flat-blade screwdriver, push in on the lock tabs
through the two small openings at the front of the headlight pod.
2. Lift the pod slightly while depressing the tabs.
3. Remove the three screws in the back of the headlight pod.
4. Lift the pod cover. Disconnect the speedometer harnesses from the
speedometer. Unplug the indicator light harness and remove the
pod cover.
5. Unplug the headlamp from the wiri ng harness.
6. Remove the boot and locking collar from the back of the lamp
housing.
7. Grasp the base of the lamp and lift it out.
8. Reverse the previous steps to replace the lamp and reassemble the
pod. Make sure the tab on the lamp locates properly in the
housing.
