Adjustments
Tire Tread Depth
Always replace tires wh en tread
depth is worn to 1/8 (.3 cm) or less.
See illustration.
Wheel Removal
1. Stop the engine, place the transmission in gear and lock the
parking brake.
2. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
3. Elevate the side of the vehicle by placing a suitable stand under the
footres t frame.
4. Remove the wheel nuts and remove the wheel.
Operating your ATV with worn tires, improperly inflated tires,
non-standar d tires or impr operly installed tires will affect vehicle
handling and could cause an acc ident resulting in ser ious injury
or death.
Maintain proper tire pr essure as descr ibed on the decal on your
ATV and in the owner’s manual.
Always use original equipment s ize and type when replacing
tires.
Make sure the wheels are installed proper ly.
Always replac e tires when the tread depth measures 1/8 (.3 cm)
or less.
