Maintenance
Transporting the Snowmobile
Whenever the snowmobile is transported the following measures
should be taken:
1. Turn the fuel valve off.
2. Be sure the fuel cap is installed correctly.
3. Always tie the snowmobile to the transporting unit securely using
suitable straps.
NOTE: T ransportation to and from a Polaris dealer is the
responsibility of the snowmobile owner . Any expenses
involved will not be reimbursed.
Fall Tune -Up
To obtain maximum performance and use from your snowmobile, we
encourage you to arrange for a fall service t une-up with your P olaris
dealer. He has an experienced and trained service technician who is
interested in keeping your machine i n peak operating condition.
Towing
Do not use this s nowmobile to tow.
If a s ituation arises requiring the snowmobile to be towed by another
snowmobile, attach the tow rope to the spindles, not to the ski toe
loops.
For Your Protection
For your added protection it is a good idea to carry the following items
in your snowmobile when traveling farther than a five-minute walk
from home.
