How do I use the camera?
The camera feature is not available on all models.
Your Navman has a built-in camera with NavPix
technology. Pictures taken while you have a GPS fix are called
NavPix and can be used to navigate to the photographed location.
The Viewfinder screen is used to take NavPix. The
will display green if your Navman has a GPS fix. If the
GPS icon displayed red you will only take a standard photo.
Your NavPix can be stored on either the Navman internal memory or a memory card and can be viewed in full
screen mode. To download new NavPix or share your NavPix with other users, visit
www.navpix.net.
How do I take a NavPix?
Quick Steps
1. Press to display the Viewfinder screen.
Note: To take a NavPix you must have a GPS fix. If the GPS icon does not display green you will only take a standard picture.
2. Press again to take a NavPix.
3. The captured image is automatically saved in your NavPix album.
Detailed Steps
The Viewfinder screen must be displayed before you can take a photo.
1. To display the Viewfinder screen, press
on top of your Navman.
2. When the Viewfinder screen is displayed, an image of what the camera is focused on will display.
Tip: Before you take a NavPix you can customize the lighting and brightness settings.
3. When you are satisfied with the image displayed in the Viewfinder, press to take the NavPix.
You can also tap
to take the NavPix.
4. The captured image will preview in the Viewfinder for two seconds before it is automatically saved in your
NavPix album on the Navman internal memory.
Note: If the Viewfinder screen is inactive for more than two minutes, the map screen will display.
