Setting and adjustment

3 Speaker level (available only when selecting EXPERT)
You can adjust the output level of each
speaker.
1 Select [LEVEL] using , then press
ENTER

The color of "LEVEL" changes.
2 Select the desired speaker(s) to be set
using

F.SP: front speakers. the level
is fixed to 0db.
C.SP: center speaker
R.SP: rear speakers
S.WOOFER: sub-woofer
The setting range is -6 db to +6 db in 1 db units.
3 Set the level using

to 0ms.
C.SP: center speaker (selectable from 0 to -5 mS in 1 mS units)
R.SP: rear speakers (selectable from 0 mS, -5mS, -10 mS, and -15 mS)

To exit the speaker level (or delay) setting mode
Move
to [LEVEL] (or [DELAY]) in the on-screen display and press
ENTER
until [LEVEL] (or [DELAY]) returns to its original color.
For the speaker(s) whose size is set
to “None”, Speaker level and Delay
cannot be set (“——” appears in the
setting field).
However, when playing back a
Dolby Digital disc, LFE singal is
output from SUBWOOFER output
even if S. WOOFER shows “——”,
allowing to activate a sub-woofer
connected. In such case, adjust the
output level using the level control
on the sub-woofer.
Delay of S.WOOFER cannot be set.
