If you are using an optional trafc receiver, you can view trafc information on your
nüvi. When a trafc message is received, your nüvi displays the incident on the map,
and you can change your route to avoid the trafc incident. For trafc data coverage
areas, go to www.garmin.com/fmtrafc. The FM trafc receiver and nüvi must be in
data range of an FM station transmitting trafc data to receive trafc information.
NOTE: Garmin is not responsible for the accuracy of the trafc information. The
FM trafc receiver simply receives signals from the trafc service provider and
displays that information on your nüvi.
Connecting the FM Trafc Receiver
NOTE: You can only access the trafc information if the nüvi is connected to an
FM trafc receiver.
1. Place your nüvi into the mount.
2. Plug the mini-USB cable from the FM trafc receiver
into the USB connector on the side of the nüvi.
