Sending SMS/Text Messages
If your phone supports SMS/text messaging, you can send and receive text messages
on the nüvi. After pairing, it can take a few minutes for text messages to be available.
Touch > Text Message.
● To view your messages, touch
Inbox, Outbox, or Drafts; and touch a message.
You can reply to or forward a text message.
● To create a new text message, touch
Compose.
NOTE: Messages sent from your nüvi do not appear in your phone’s outbox.
Dropping a Connection
1. Touch > Bluetooth > Change.
2. Touch the device name that you want to drop, and then touch Drop.
3. To conrm, touch Yes. The dropped phone can be reconnected later.
Removing a Phone from the List
1. Touch > Bluetooth > Change.
2. Touch the device name that you want to remove, and then touch Delete.
3. To conrm, touch Yes. If you want to use hands-free functions with this
removed phone again, you must pair this phone and the nüvi again.
